The 18th Morristown Festival on the Green on Sunday, Sept. 30 will again provide the Morris County government with the chance to provide information about the many services it offers county residents.

At least nine county government departments and agencies will be participating in this year’s event, staffing display booths along Washington Street and answering questions about their programs.

The Morristown Festival on the Green runs from noon to 5 p.m. rain or shine in downtown Morristown.

The Morris County Freeholders will have a county government information table, the Superintendent of Elections Office will be registering voters and the Morris County Office of Health Management will be offering wellness tips and displaying and explaining the county’s HAZMAT vehicle.

Other county government agencies participating in the Festival on the Green are the County College of Morris; the Prosecutor’s Office Community Affairs Unit; the Morris County Mosquito Extermination Commission; the Human Services Department; the Morris County Clerk; the Morris County Heritage Commission; Rutgers Extension Service of Morris County; and the Municipal Utilities Authority.
